Manchester United winger Amad Diallo, who has been a standout performer this season with nine goals and seven assists, may miss the remainder of the Premier League campaign due to an ankle ligament injury.

The 22-year-old Ivorian, who recently signed a new five-year contract, is expected to be sidelined for at least several weeks, though he will undergo further evaluation.

Diallo’s injury adds to Manchester United’s growing list of absentees, including defender Lisandro Martinez, who is out for the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury. The team, currently struggling in 13th place in the league, faces Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday amid these setbacks.
