The trial of armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed for the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021 will take place on Wednesday.

The case is due to get under way in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Wednesday. On October 20, 2021, Ms. Hutchins lost her life when a gun went off on the set of Rust, an upcoming Western movie, in the Santa Fe area. Ms Gutierrez-Reed has pleaded not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence.
