Pakistan Airlines has leased slots at London Heathrow to Saudi Arabia for the summer of 2025.
According to the revised schedule, Saudia will operate flights SV108 and SV109, arriving at 2300 and departing at 2305 hours, respectively.
LONDON- For its operations at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) in the summer of 2025, Pakistan International Airlines (PK), also known as PIA, has formally requested a slot swap from Airport Coordination Limited (ACL).
The arrangement involves leasing slots to Saudi Airlines (SV) between April 5 and October 25, 2025.Swaps
The proposed swap affects PK’s existing arrival slot at 1335 hours and departure slot at 1600 hours, operated by a 393-seat Boeing 777 aircraft serving the Lahore and Karachi routes. These slots will be transferred to Saudi Arabia’s operations, which will use a Boeing 789 with 289 seats for their service to Riyadh. The action follows Vietnam Airlines’ (VN) announcement that, starting on April 5, 2025, it will give two slots back to Pakistan International Airlines. For the summer of 2025, PIA will lease these two slots to Saudi Arabia.
Vietnam Airlines currently uses a 274-seat Boeing 789 aircraft to operate flights VN051 and VN050 between London Heathrow and Saigon. Six days a week, the slot timings from Terminal 4 include an arrival time of 1335 and a departure time of 1600.
