New accusations against Ben Sulayem regarding his clearance of a Vegas track

The president of Formula 1’s governing body, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, is said to have instructed officials not to approve the Las Vegas circuit for the race the previous year. The claims comes from the same whistleblower who claimed that Ben Sulayem had instructed officials to reverse Fernando Alonso’s punishment in Saudi Arabia the previous year. The claim is in a report by the FIA’s compliance officer to its ethics committee. BBC Sport has viewed the document.
