The claims comes from the same whistleblower who claimed that Ben Sulayem had instructed officials to reverse Fernando Alonso’s punishment in Saudi Arabia the previous year. The claim is in a report by the FIA’s compliance officer to its ethics committee. BBC Sport has viewed the document.
