Jayne Hrdlicka, the CEO of Virgin Australia, quits abruptly

Following almost four years in leadership of the airline, Virgin Australia CEO Jayne Hrdlicka has announced her resignation.
Hrdlicka stated that it was time for her to “pass the baton on” after taking over the carrier in 2020 after Bain Capital purchased it out of administration.
She said in a written statement, “This is not a decision I have taken lightly, but the last four years have been heavy lifting across the organization during the toughest of times.”
