A series of videos obtained by Vahid Online, an Iranian blogger and internet activist known for documenting protests, from Tehran’s Kahrizak forensic center show rows of bodies reportedly transported by pickup trucks after the January 8 crackdown on protests in Iran.
In one clip, an on-screen label refers to “photo number … out of 250,” suggesting the scale of fatalities.

Videos, uploaded to social media despite the internet shutdown in Iran, show a vast number of corpses piled up in the forensic center’s warehouse and lined up in the yard. Witnesses corroborated the footage to Le Monde.
The official says this figure includes security personnel and blames “terrorists” for the deaths.
Prior to this, the latest figures for the number of dead that we had were at least 646 people – from the US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency.
The ongoing internet blackout in Iran means these figures aren’t the total figure and make getting information out of the country difficult.All eyes are on the president’s next moves after he threatened to strike the Iranian regime if it killed civilian protesters.
