Workers at Germany’s largest airport are set to go on strike on Monday.

Frankfurt airport is Germany’s international aviation hub.A 27-hour strike at five of the same airports that started Feb. 7 prompted the airline to cancel hundreds of flights.

Trade union Verdi on Friday said workers at Frankfurt Airport are set to go on strike on Monday.

Most employees of Fraport, which operates Frankfurt Airport, are under collective wage agreements, and could join the strike, due to begin at midnight on Monday morning (2300 UTC).

Ground staff at the airport were also called on by Verdi to lay down tools on Monday.

The so-called “warning strike” comes after a second round of wage negotiations for public sector employees fell through.

Strikes at several German airports last week amid the ongoing wage dispute heavily disrupted travel.
