A woman shot and killed on Valentine’s Day at a pub in Kent named

Police in Kent have identified Lisa Smith, 43, of Slough as the woman who was shot dead at a pub.

On Friday, February 14, 2025, just after 7 p.m., Kent Police received a call at Main Road, Knockholt, reporting that a woman in her 40s had been shot. At the scene, she passed away.

After a suspect in the murder is thought to have fallen from the Queen Elizabeth II bridge, authorities are still searching parts of the River Thames.

They claim that a vehicle and gun connected to the suspect were subsequently found near the Dartford Crossing.

Officers are concentrating their efforts on searches to recover the suspect, a man the victim knows, who was reportedly spotted on the wrong side of a bridge barrier.The landlady of the pub where the incident happened has said she heard two loud bangs which sounded like fireworks.

When customers realized what had happened, they began “screaming, shouting, and crying,” Michelle Thomas, owner of The Three Horseshoes in Knockholt, Kent, told Sky News.

Ms. Thomas claimed that she heard two loud bangs while getting ready for the Valentine’s Day dinner service, which at first she mistook for fireworks.

According to her, the incident happened shortly after 7 p.m. with about 30 people at the pub for dinner and another 20 in the bar.
