A video of Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner dancing in the DJ Booth of an Ibiza superclub has surfaced.
At Hï Ibiza, the Labour politician was observed jumping, dancing, and cheering in front of a sizable crowd while smoke cannons burst. In the background, Kimbra’s Somebody That I Used To Know was being remixed.
Celebrity DJ Denise van Outen posted the video to Instagram, referring to the event as a “surprise booth rave up with Angela Rayner”.
Ms Rayner, who has spoken about how she enjoys 12-hour long raving sessions in the past, showed off some of her moves as she boogied alongside Australian music producer Paul Fisher, known as DJ Fisher, in the huge Ibiza club.
Monday, September 2 marks the return of Parliament following a month-long break.
The deputy leader of Labour has been dubbed the party’s new Red Queen and has previously made references to her fondness for raves.
The politician revealed that she had partied from four in the afternoon to five in the morning during a recent trip to Spain in an interview with the Mirror from last summer.
In August of last year, while conducting an interview at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the 44-year-old expressed her pride in her extended party sessions.
“I am a grandma,” she said to the throng, pointing out that the girls she was wild about were half my age.
“I took pride in that.” I started at 4 p.m., and when the sun was shining at 6 a.m., I arrived home and thought, “Yes, I can do it.”
“You have to go with the music, the vibes,” Ms. Rayner continued. You’ve got to be in the moment and it takes you.”
