The confirmation follows reports from analysts tracking open-source flight data, which indicated that B-2 bombers had taken part in the operation.

The aircraft were also deployed in U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in June. US Central Command
United States Central Command (Centcom) has stated that American B-2 stealth bombers were deployed on Saturday night with 2000-pound bombs and “struck Iran’s hardened ballistic missile facilities”.

“No nation should ever doubt America’s resolve,” Centcom has said in a post on X, attaching a video of a B-2 bomber taking off from a runway

The US military officially confirms using B-2 stealth bombers to strike underground Iranian ballistic missile facilities.

“Last night, US B-2 stealth bombers, armed with 2,000 pound bombs, struck Iran’s hardened ballistic missile facilities,” the US Central Command says.

The statement comes after analysts monitoring open-source flight tracking data revealed that B-2 bombers had been used in recent strikes on Iran. The bombers were also used in US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in June.
