13 cops killed i n Sirajganj, total deaths now 68; curfew on from 6pm. At least 42 bullet-hit peopl/e have been admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital who were injured in a clash between the protesters, police and Awami League activists at New Market area in the port city.
Sub-Inspector Alauddin Talukder of CMCH Police Camp said some 20 bullet-hit people brought from New Market area have been admitted to CMCHAround 2:00pm, CMCH emergency department’s Medical Officer Tuhin Shubhra Das told The Daily Star that the number of injured from the New Market clash increased to 42 and most of them were shot.
