Two teenagers have been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in Peterborough.
Emidas Krutkevicius, 18, of Garton End Road in the city, and a 15-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, are accused of killing Baye Bireme Fall.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing just before 7pm on Sunday near the town’s Orton Centre.
Baye was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead shortly before 9.30pm that evening.
A post-mortem examination carried out at Peterborough City Hospital found he died from a single stab wound.
Both defendants have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on 16 April.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for information.
