A Tunisian imam expelled from France for alleged hate speech announced on Friday that he would take legal action to overturn the decision. The radical Imam Mahjoub Mahjoubi was recently expelled from national territory, less than 12 hours after his arrest.
The 52-year-old was arrested and deported to Tunisia on Thursday, arriving shortly before midnight on a flight from Paris.
Mahjoubi has lived in France since the 1980s and is married with five children.
