“I confirm the acceptability for the Russian side of the initiative just proposed by US President Donald Trump, concerning a ceasefire for a prisoner-of-war exchange between Russia and Ukraine,” he told journalists.
Trump announced on social media earlier that the ceasefire would last from Saturday through Monday.
