The Supreme Court will decide if ex-President Donald Trump is immune from being prosecuted on charges of trying to overturn the 2020 election.
The justices said in an order issued Wednesday that they will take up the question in oral arguments during the week of April 22 — which further delays Trump’s prosecution, already paused while he has been pressing his immunity appeal in the lower courts. US Court of Appeals panel has already rejected Mr Trump’s argument that he enjoys presidential immunity.
