7News reports Virgin’s management team has been flown to Fiji investigate the incident.
The network also reports family members of the crew are on their way to the country and a replacement team has been dispatched to fly the plane back to Australia.
A spokesperson for Virgin Australia confirmed they were aware of an incident, but did not reveal any further details.
“Our priority is the welfare of the crew,” they told NewsWire.
