After being found guilty on Wednesday of killing a 17-year-old Roman girl and hiding her body in a grocery cart in a street in the Italian capital in June 2023, Aman was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
    The sentence was handed down by the Juvenile Court of Rome as the killer, who is of Sri Lankan origin, was 17 years old when he murdered Michelle Maria Causo in Rome’s Primavalle district.
    The homicide is part of a spate of shocking femicides in Italy.
