Last night, the Lebanese capital was rocked by massive explosions and deafening gunfire, marking perhaps the most violent night ever. These explosions continued until the early hours of the morning, according to SKY NEWS. It is hard to imagine how strong and terrifying is the Israeli bombardment in Beirut. The noise causes absolute terror. The shockwave can be felt several kilometers away, reverberating through buildings and the ground.
People run to the windows to see how far they are. And the sound of Israeli drones flying low and persistent over the city became a warning and another dire indicator of where the bombs might fall next.
The Lebanese Minister of Economy described the city as a “city under siege”.
