England lost four wickets for just 11 runs in a batting collapse after lunch on day two of the first Ashes Test match in Perth. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope had taken England’s lead over 100 runs as they navigated a testing opening session to pile pressure on Australia.
But, Scott Boland found movement off the pitch and skittled both set batters, as well as Harry Brook, before Mitchell Starc claimed the crucial wickets of Joe Root and Ben Stokes to leave England in peril.
