Taylor Swift’s Backup Dancers Come to the Rescue as Her Dress Unzips in Wardrobe Malfunction at Miami Show

The pop star performed in the city of Florida the first of three nights on October 18. While she was wearing one of her tour outfits, there was a problem with the outfit Friday night, the Miami Herald reported. The custom white Vivienne Westwood dress with black letter detailing was revealed as Taylor sang “Ma Daddy I Love Him.” He had started to sing the song which was taken from his latest album The Tortured Poets Department when the decompression happened. Luckily, two of her backup dancers came to her rescue and helped her fix the chain so Taylor could continue going out without a hitch. The exchange was filmed and the video is circulating online. His two backup dancers were able to fix the chain and the show resumed. The custom dress was first unveiled in Paris during Taylor’s European tour. This is a sleeveless dress with a corset bodice and fitted skirt, giving it an asymmetrical hemline. The outfit features lyrics from Fortnight’s eleventh studio album written in large letters, which read: “I love you, you’re ruining my life.”

Taylor showed off a new tour outfit on the first night in Miami. The new outfit she debuted was a Roberto Cavalli jumpsuit during the part of the show where she paid homage to her Reputation era. Many fans also thought that this could be a sign that Taylor’s version of Reputation will be released soon. In addition to the new costume, Taylor brought her friend and collaborator Florence Welch to the stage. Both made Florida from the Department of Tortured Poets. After their performance, the two hugged.
Florence took to Instagram, specifically Instagram Stories, on October 19 to express her gratitude to Taylor for the experience: “FLORIDA!!! Thank you so much for having me @TaylorSwift.”

The Prophecy singer’s show in Miami marks the start of the second and final leg of her American tour, after a break of almost two months. She will make stops in New Orleans and Indianapolis after finishing with Miami. The tour began in March 2023 and will end in Vancouver, Canada on December 8. Their Canadian dates feature Gracie Abram as special guest
