3 murdered in Brussels: The suspect arrested at the weekend is the woman’s husband. He was first detained in connection with partner violence and has now been charged with murder the Brussels public prosecutor’s office says.
A concerned relative contacted the police following the incident on the Johannalaan in Elsene (Brussels). On arrival police encountered a man, who only opened the door after long insistence by the officers.
Inside the house, the police found 3 bodies; a 40-year-old woman and 2 children (aged 13 and 1). At least 2 of them reportedly died from gunshot wounds. Murdered by the partner in question.
The man, the woman’s partner, was arrested. After questioning, the investigating judge charged him with murder.
