A man has died and a fresh weather warning covers the whole of the UK as Storm Amy continues to bring widespread disruption.
Irish police said the man died in a “weather-related” incident in the Letterkenny area of County Donegal, Republic of Ireland shortly after 4.15pm on Friday.
Around 62,000 people in Scotland are without power following damage to electricity lines, while the Met Office has released a yellow weather warning for wind covering the whole of the UK.
