This evening’s Southampton vs. Preston match has been postponed due to a fire that started next to St Mary’s Stadium.
Four industrial units in Marine Parade are affected by the fire that started just after 1pm this afternoon, and firefighters are battling it. Southampton FC had been due to play Preston this evening in the Championship, as the Saints continue in their push towards promotion.
