Fullkrug has international pedigree, with 13 goals in 21 appearances since winning his first cap just two years ago, aged 29.
The Hammers have so far this summer brought in centre-back Max Killman from Wolves for £40m – reuniting the defender with new manager Julen Lopetegui – and 18-year-old Palmeiras winger Luis Guilherme for £25.5m, as well as Sheffield United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham on a free transfer.
