A man in South Korea has confessed to killing his girlfriend and hiding her body in cement, 16 years after she vanished.
The man, in his 50s, told the local police that he struck the woman with a blunt object following an argument at his apartment in the southern city of Geoje.
He then placed her lifeless body in a suitcase and buried it on his balcony beneath a layer of cement and bricks.
According to the local media, it was missed for some time until a maintenance worker discovered it last month while drilling.
