Roy Hodgson has stepped down as Crystal Palace boss so the club can bring forward their plans to appoint a new manager. Hodgson, 76, fell ill on Thursday while training in the midst of rumors that he was going to be fired. The Eagles are currently 16th in the standings, five points above the relegation zone, and have lost 10 of their last 16 Premier League games.
