A police investigation has been launched after a man was killed in a shooting in east London. Police rushed to Linton Road in Barking after receiving reports of shots fired at around 4.35am on Sunday. A man, believed to be in his thirties, was found with a gunshot wound. Despite the best efforts of doctors, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His parents have been notified. The crime scene remains in place. No arrests have been made and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
