Police have launched an urgent investigation after a man died following a triple shooting in Sydenham.
Police rushed to Wells Park Road just after 10am on Sunday after reports of gunfire in the area.
A man was found with gunshot injuries and, despite the best efforts of paramedics, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish his identity and notify his family. A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
A woman was also found with gunshot wounds to her legs. She was taken to hospital, where her condition is not considered life-threatening.
A third person later attended hospital with suspected gunshot injuries, and an assessment of their condition is awaited.
No arrests have been made at this early stage.
