On Wednesday, Giorgia Meloni denounced as unjust the smear campaign that the Italian law enforcement agencies are purportedly subjected to.
At a meeting at Palazzo Chigi called in response to harsh policing during a pro-Palestinian protest in Pisa last month, Meloni told police union representatives, “I would like to recall here that in 97% of the demonstrations that have taken place in recent months there have been no policing issues.”
