Over sixty people are detained by police during a farmers’ protest on Paris’ Champs-Élysées.

Farmers temporarily stopped traffic on the well-known avenue near the Arc de Triomphe monument, just a short distance from President Emmanuel Macron’s office, the Elysee, by using tractors and bales of hay.

The demonstrators on the avenue carried banners with the slogan “at saving French agriculture” on them.
