The musician is accused of several crimes, one of which is sex trafficking.
An examination of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s past and the indictment against him
Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a severe three-count federal indictment centered around charges of drug-fueled orgies, coercion and force, prostitution, and a cover-up.
The music mogul is accused of conspiring to commit racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution by interstate transportation. Both his entertainment empire and his freedom are in jeopardy because of these charges.
Federal prosecutors describe Combs as the head of a purported criminal enterprise that routinely subjects women and others to physical and sexual abuse.
Over a number of years, according to investigators, Combs would allegedly ply victims with drugs and even use violence and intimidation during long-lasting sex sessions.
Federal prosecutors claim that even though no one else has been charged in this case yet, he did not act alone. Combs allegedly had managers, assistants, and security personnel who ensured that both male and female prostitutes were present at these “freak off” events and that lubricant and baby oil were kept stocked in the hotel rooms where they were staged.
