Netanyahu vows to continue fighting as Israel remembers 7 October attacks

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would not give up the hostages taken by Hamas after vowing to continue fighting a year after the October 7 attacks.

Families of the hostages observe a minute of silence in Tel Aviv as people around the world remember the victims of the attacks, in which Hamas killed around 1,200 people and took 251 hostages.

Since October 7, nearly 42,000 people have been killed in Israel’s campaign in Gaza, according to the Hamas Health Ministry.
