Nasrallah’s fate unclear

According to the New York., who cites eight Israeli and two American officials, the Israeli strike in Beirut was intended to target Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah.

The information was leaked after a senior US official confirmed to ABC News that Nasrallah was the intended target and that, at the time of the attack, the head of Hezbollah and his delegates were “making a quick visit” to the Lebanese capital.

                                  The Israeli military claimed that they struck the Hezbollah central command, which is situated in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Deeply buried in residential areas, according to Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari’s televised statement.

Furthermore, the Hezbollah-affiliated channel al Manar TV recently covered a string of Israeli airstrikes on the southern suburbs of the capital.
