Three Irish men have been arrested in Australia in connection with a series of more than 60 burglaries in Melbourne.
Police say the three Irish nationals, who entered Australia in the past six months, stole more than $1 million worth of goods including cash, jewelry and designer handbags.
They are suspected to be responsible for more than 60 house burglaries in Blackburn, Doncaster, Narre Warren, Hampton Park Narre Warren and Templestowe since January.
The majority of these offenses allegedly took place while the occupants were away from their home. After breaking into the homes, the trio allegedly used cleaning products to try to cover their tracks.
