A man has reportedly been killed by a lion in a Nigerian zoo.
According to Nigerian news source the Premium Times, police confirmed that the 35-year-old zookeeper had died in an enclosure at the wildlife park of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.
Authorities claimed that the man, Babji Daule, was the male lion’s trained handler at the presidential library’s Zoological Garden in a police statement that was cited by the outlet.
