Lebanon’s National News Agency reported Thursday that an Israeli attack targeting a car on a road leading to Beirut, the capital, left two dead.
“An enemy drone targeted a car on Kahale Road,” the agency said, referring to a mountainous area on the main road linking Beirut to the eastern Bekaa Valley.
The agency later said two people were killed in the attack, which took place outside Hezbollah’s traditional strongholds, which have come under heavy Israeli bombardment since the war began last month.
