Lebanon’s citizens make a journey of refuge out of Israeli fire

Lebanese citizens in packed cars are escaping Israeli fire. The traffic jammed the roads for hours on end. Hardly any belongings and not a spare seat in any car.

People in Lebanon, especially in the Bekaa Valley and the southern suburbs, received messages on Monday morning from unknown numbers telling them to leave their homes right away.

Weary heads cocked to one side in car seats. eyes that are vacant and hollow.On the roads leading out of south Lebanon, eyewitness videos showed cars parked bumper to bumper. In some of the clips, smoke billowed in the background due to nearby attacks.

Some people reportedly took over 14 hours to complete the two-hour drive from Tyre, with drivers and passengers caught in traffic jams less than an hour from their homes.
