A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found stabbed to death on Henderson Drive. Police and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene, where the woman was pronounced dead after sustaining injuries consistent with a stabbing.
The suspect, a man in his 20s who was known to the victim, was arrested and taken into custody. Police remained at the scene on Saturday afternoon, with Henderson Drive closed between the junctions of Marsh Street and Cavell Crescent as the investigation continued.
