Jessica Pegula has new coaching team.

When Jessica Pegula competes again this week at the San Diego Open, she will have a new coaching staff. Following her defeat in the second round of the Australian Open, the world No. 5 broke off her relationship with her former coach David Witt. Pegula has discussed her new coaches, Mark Knowles and Mark Merklein, as well as the reasons behind her feeling that she had to make “tough decisions” about her coaching staff.
