Reuters is reporting, citing three security sources.
Sources say that an Israeli military incursion into Syria has reached about 16 miles southwest of Damascus after Israel seized a buffer zone in southern Syria and launched airstrikes on Syrian army and air bases overnight.
According to reports, Israeli troops have reached Qatana, which six miles into Syrian territory east of a demilitarised zone separating Israeli-occupied Golan Heights from Syria.
The IDF has denied these claims to Sky News.

Two Syrian security sources told Reuters that Israeli planes bombed at least three major Syrian army bases that housed dozens of helicopters and jets in the biggest wave of such strikes on airbases since Bashar al Assad was toppled.
