Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu vows “relentless attacks” against Hezbollah, including visiting Beirut to the military base hit by a Hezbollah drone on Sunday night.
Since Israel stepped up its bombing campaign in Lebanon and deployed ground troops across the border last month, the conflict has killed at least 1,315 people, according to an AFP report based on figures from the Lebanese Health Ministry. Hezbollah said it had launched a “squadron of attack drones” in response to Israeli attacks, including one last week that Lebanon’s Health Ministry said killed at least 22 people in central Beirut .
