The Israeli army bombed the Jabalia refugee camp, killing at least 17 people after forcing residents in the area to flee the camp again, in the third ground attack on the densely populated camp in northern Israel since the war broke out a year ago.
The Palestinian civil defense agency said on Sunday that the death toll included nine children after airstrikes and as the army deployed tanks to the area for the first time in months.
