Overnight, the Israeli air force carried out fresh strikes in Hezbollah’s stronghold in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
The Health Ministry of Lebanon reports that during the course of a single day, Israeli strikes have left at least 55 people dead and 156 injured. It does not distinguish between militants and civilians.
