Study finds that red wine and dark chocolate can reduce the risk of “dementia”

According to a recent Australian study, consuming dark chocolate and red wine may help lower the risk of dementia.

The culprit is thought to be a group of organic compounds known as “flavonoids,” which can be found in berries, leafy greens, and other fruits and vegetables.

They can also be found in tea and the treats mentioned earlier.

While they wait 466 days for drugs to be added to PBS, Australians demand reform.

For almost ten years, researchers from Queen’s University in Belfast and Edith Cowan University in Glasgow examined the diets of over 120,000 adults in the UK who were between the ages of 40 and 70.

Of that group, 882 suffered from dementia at some point during the study.

Researchers found that those who consumed the most foods high in flavonoids had a lower risk of dementia.
