During a debate in which both candidates seek to be the catalyst for change, Harris calms down an irate Trump.A heated debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris takes place in the US presidential contest of 2024.The ninety-minute event was dominated by personal attacks in addition to policy debate.
According to Harris, people “leave Trump rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom,” and she also asserted that people do not actually attend her events.
In addition to her shifting political opinions, Trump criticized Harris for her record on immigration and border security. Harris also held him responsible for the attacks on the US Capitol building on January 6 and for “Trump abortion bans.”
Although early polls indicate Harris won the debate, Trump claims that she “lost very badly” in the aftermath.
Harris is leading in national opinion polls with the election on November 5th, but the race in the major battleground states is very close.
Taylor Swift praised Harris on Instagram shortly after the debate, referring to her as a “gifted leader.”
