Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout suffered another meniscus tear in his surgically repaired left knee and will not play the remainder of this season, yet another crushing development for the generational superstar who has been significantly hampered by injuries in recent years, according to ESPN
In a post to social media Thursday, Trout wrote that an MRI a day earlier “showed a tear in my meniscus that will require surgery again — ending my hopes of returning this season.”
