Based on reports from the media A British couple found dead on one of the Caribbean’s busiest beaches from what authorities are calling a “apparent drowning.”
On Saturday, the bodies of a 77-year-old woman and a 76-year-old man were discovered at Paradise Beach in the village of L’Esterre on the Grenadine island of Carriacou.
Local media reported that the man was pronounced dead at the scene, and that his wife was taken to Princess Royal Hospital, where an examination resulted in her death as well.
National police are still waiting for the results of an autopsy of their bodies.
