In Barcelona, Sir Ben Ainslie is robbed of his Rolex at knifepoint.

At knifepoint in Barcelona, Sir Ben Ainslie, the four-time Olympic champion, had his Rolex taken.
The most successful Olympic sailor in history, 47, was robbed on Saturday night as he was leaving a restaurant, according to local media.
It is estimated that the watch was worth £16,858.
In the America’s Cup, the sailor is captaining the UK’s Ineos Britannia team.
“Barcelona is a fantastic host city for the America’s Cup, and the team has felt welcomed and is enjoying our stay in this vibrant city,” Sir Ben said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.
“Opportunistic crime can have an impact on you, just like it can in any large city, and my situation is no exception. The local authorities are currently handling this issue.”
A specialized police team is looking into a recent wave of luxury watch thefts that have occurred in Barcelona.
Since 1996, Sir Ben has competed in five Olympics and won medals, including four golds in a row from 2000 to 2012.
After failures in Bermuda and New Zealand, Sir Ben will attempt a third time to make history by winning the America’s Cup for Britain.
In January, Sir Ben announced his resignation from the Emirates Great Britain SailGP team.
Giles Scott MBE, a double Olympic gold medallist and America’s Cup teammate, took over as driver, but Sir Ben continued in his capacity as the company’s CEO.
According to Sir Ben, he stepped down from his driving position to make room for the coming generation.
