The IDF tweets that it is again striking Hezbollah targets in Beirut.
An hour ago, the IDF directed Lebanese civilians to evacuate from several buildings in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut, a known Hezbollah stronghold.
Airstrikes have continued almost nonstop tonight in Lebanon following a strike that targeted Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
On Friday, there were also powerful strikes in southern Beirut. There was no quick confirmation of Nasrallah’s death. Hezbollah, an armed group in Lebanon, had not released a statement, according to a close source, who said the group was unreachable.On Saturday, witnesses claimed to have heard more than 20 different airstrikes before sunrise. After fleeing their homes in the southern suburbs, thousands of Lebanese flocked to downtown Beirut’s squares, parks, and sidewalks, as well as the waterfront.
