Hezboallah fired ten rockets at Tiberias earlier today, says IDF

Ten rockets fired from Lebanon towards Tiberias and other towns near the Sea of Galilee earlier this morning caused moderate injuries to a man, according to the Israeli Defense Forces.

The bulk of the rockets were intercepted by air defenses, according to the military. After an interception, the injured 25-year-old was struck by falling shrapnel, according to medical personnel. According to Gallant, Israel will “increase” its attacks on Hezbollah until the north is once again safe.

On September 24, 2024, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant addresses the troops during a drill in northern Israel.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant claims that the IDF is hitting Hezbollah hard and will keep doing so until security is restored to the north while on a visit to Safed.

Gallant, speaking from the northern city that has been the target of several rocket attacks in recent days, states in a video message that “we are hitting Hezbollah very hard over the past year and in particular over the past few weeks.”

“We intend to bring security to the town in the north and safely return those who evacuated home, so we will continue and increase this effort,” he continues.
